ClearView came along in 2006 at a time when Java recruitment was heavily misunderstood. I set out to create a business that offered a professional and friendly service, replacing the pushy aggressive approach with a trusted advisory service building long-term professional relationships.

Over the last 5 years we've gone about things in a fashion that is unique within the recruitment world. We recognized that the Java sector is abundant with people who truly care about the industry and the people in it. Alongside them we launched the London Java Community, we invested time and energy in social networks, and we combined our values with the power of community.

This has allowed us to spot the brightest talent in the industry. It's allowed us to concentrate on connecting people and we've been able to single-mindedly focus in Java and JVM development.

A few years on and we are an integral piece of one of the World's fastest growing and most successful Java user groups, which now has a seat on the JCP, and has just been nominated as JCP Member / Participant of the Year.

We proudly believe we have made a real difference in our corner of the Java Ecosystem.

It's now, in 2011, that we find ClearView has evolved beyond a pure recruitment entity and into something far more valuable. Over the last four years we have founded three successful social networks, bringing together many of the most passionate thought leaders in London to lead and inspire these communities. We have acted as advisors, sponsors and organisers to many user groups and events.

And having recently recruited the tenth member of our team, we are ready to embark upon a new phase of our development which starts with our rebranding.

Therefore I am immensely proud to announce RecWorks Ltd, a company committed to bringing together Recruitment and social netWorks in a unique way that spots and develops the brightest talent in the industry.

Over the coming weeks and months RecWorks Ltd will increase its service offering to include:

• Progressive free careers concierge website focused on talent
• Careers advice and recruitment service dedicated to the graduate market
• Specialist recruitment service focusing on the growing JVM language markets including Scala and Clojure
